The First MB/TAC Joint Meeting of SEERC Held Under Türkiye Chairmanship

SEERC Management Board (MB) and Technical Advisory Committee (TAC)  joint meeting held in under Türkiye’s chairmanship which first meeting of Türkiye Chairmanship Period. As the first face to face meeting after a two years period, 32 Management Board and Technical Advisory Committee members from 13 different SEERC countries has attended the meeting in Vienna. 

Dr. İzzet Alagöz, the chairman for SEERC, has started the meeting by underlining the importance of energy supply security in SEERC countries stating that “supply security is the most important” issue not only for SEERC, but also for all world. 

Road map during Türkiye’s chairmanship, and news from member countries has been presented in the meeting by related countries’ representative. Ahmet Merev, the vice president of NC of CIGRE Türkiye, detailly informed the attendees on Turkey’s SEERC strategy 2021- 2023 period.

Next MB/TAC joint meeting will be organized during CIGRE Paris Session at the end of August 2022.
