TÜRKİYE TAKES OVER THE SEERC CHAIRMANSHIP UNTIL THE END OF 2023
CIGRE National Committee of Türkiye has taken over the SEERC chairmanship from Austria until 2023. The handover ceremony was held in the opening session of SEERC Vienna Colloquium on 31st of May.
Dr İzzet Alagöz, the new chairman SEERC, has taken over the role from Klemens Reich, chairman for Austria NC. Dr. Alagöz has admitted in the ceremony that the cooperation among SEERC member countries will increase in coming period of Türkiye’s chairmanship.
Türkiye NC will hold the chairmanship until the end of 2023, when is the 100. Anniversary of Türkiye’s . Türkiye will organize 4th SEERC Conference on October 2023 in Istanbul and hand over the chairmanship to Bosnia Herzegovina.
